Chapter 1: Interpersonal challenges


While some families will be relatively easy to work with, various relational-type problems can occur depending on the circumstances. This chapter provides guidance on some situations that require a paramedic to place limits and preserve boundaries, while retaining the calm demeanor of a gentle but firm clinician who will not be visibly rattled.
