It comes as no surprise that the toughest calls for many paramedics involve children. A pediatric palliative care call is an incredibly sad situation. Many paramedics say it's hard to stop thinking about  these calls after work. The death of a child is challenging on many levels and will likely impact you in ways you can’t predict. Regardless, during the call your task remains to provide support to the patient and family.
